James DiPasquale, Esq.


James D. DiPasquale is an experienced corporate, commercial and litigation attorney, who provides a full range of legal services and advice to restaurateurs, hoteliers and nightlife operators.  James’s practice encompasses everything from the formation and governance of corporations, capital raises, franchise agreements and negotiations, the filing and certification of liquor license and sidewalk café applications as well as the handling and defense of liquor license and department of labor violations. On a daily basis, James’s clients rely on him to navigate a broad range of transactional, regulatory, corporate and administrative matters, all of which require an in-depth understanding of the complexities of the industry.

James understands his client’s business objectives and strives to help achieve those objectives in an efficient and cost effective manner. He maintains a business-like and client-oriented approach, focusing on what’s important to his clients.

James is admitted to the New York Bar, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Restaurant Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Hospitality Section, where he serves as member of the Business Law Subcommittee.  James has been a guest lecturer at the Institute of Culinary Education since 2013 and he has given countless seminars in conjunction with NYC Business Solutions on the legal aspects of opening and running a restaurant or bar in New York City.
